THE YOUTH DEPARTMENT AT THE YOUNG ISRAEL OF NEW ROCHELLE IS BOTH VIBRANT AND DYNAMIC!
The center of our programming is our Shabbat morning activities. Shabbat morning youth groups are for children from Nursery age until high school. These groups are led by our local high school and college leaders who emphasize both educational and recreational activities.
There are Davening Groups designed to introduce first through fifth graders to the basics of tefillah. Our Teen Minyan is run exclusively by high school students.
In addition to our Shabbat morning activities we also have a host of other programs throughout the year. We have holiday themed programs, onegs, learning programs, crafts events, and group leader training shabbatons. There are constantly new and exciting events being planned.
